Aerodyne Industries CEO Andy Allen, who logged more than 900 hours in space as a Pilot and Mission Commander for three Space Shuttle missions — STS-46 (1992), STS-62 (1994) and STS-75 (1996) — appeared on Fox Business News to discuss the Demo-2 mission on May 27, 2020.
Andy was a guest on “After the Bell” and was a lead-in interview moments before the mission was scrubbed.
“It’s kind of a bummer for the Astronauts and the families that come down to visit the Astronauts,” Andy said. “But we don’t have yet the exact science of figuring out and predicting Mother Nature or acts of God so it’s just one of those things that happens.”
While the mission was scrubbed, there was a glimmer of good news: It appeared the Dow was closing with a healthy gain for the day. Was it a coincidence the increase came on the day of Andy’s national TV appearance? We think not...
