Sydnee Horton, a Simulation Software Engineer for MSOC, received an Excellence Team Award for her outstanding contributions supporting the distributed training simulation interface between the external partner simulations.
Sydnee received her award on May 8, 2025, less than a year since joining Aerodyne on June 3, 2024.
Her contributions supported external partner simulations involving the Joint Multi-Segment Training (JMST), Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA), European Space Agency (ESA), Marshall Flight Space Center (MFSC), and Dream Chaser International Space Station (ISS) simulations.
“Despite being new to the team, she has done an outstanding job stepping up and assuming new roles and responsibilities in the Mission Training Center (MTC) facility,” said Matthew Bogues, Software Engineering Manager. “Her efforts have resulted in providing successful training of the complex operations associated with the rendezvous, docking, and berthing and has significantly contributed to the success of the ISS missions.
“These were major tasks that were very visible by the customer.”
“It’s an immense honor to not only join the Aerodyne team and the MSOC contract, but to also be recognized for my efforts and contributions in supporting the distributed training simulation interface between various external partner simulations.” -Sydnee Horton
