Aerodyne Joins Amentum as Sub on $4B Space Force Range Contract

CAPE CANAVERAL, Fl / EL SEGUNDO, CA - Aerodyne Industries is proud to announce it is a member of Amentum’s Jacobs Technology Inc. winning team that was recently awarded the $4B Space Force Range Contract (SFRC) by the United States Space Force (USSF) Space Systems Command (SSC).  Aerodyne is a teammate and will be supporting the Amentum-led team across the contract scope.

SSC is the U.S. Space Force’s field command responsible for acquiring, developing, and delivering resilient capabilities to protect our nation’s strategic advantage in, from, and to space.

The contract will transform the way operations, maintenance, sustainment, systems engineering and integration services are provided at the Eastern and Western Ranges, to enable their eventual transformation into efficient, high-capacity multi-user spaceports.

The work will take place across both ranges, including Patrick Space Force Base, Cape Canaveral Space Force Station, Kennedy Space Center, Jonathan Dickinson Missile Tracking Annex, and Vandenberg Space Force Base.

Under the contract, Amentum will provide systems engineering, cybersecurity, integration, logistics, sustainment, operations, and program management solutions to support Assured Access to Space (AATS) Space Systems Command and realize the USSF’s goal to modernize the Launch and Test Range System (LTRS).  Updating the LTRS will enable a high-cadence, multi-user spaceport model for national security, space exploration, and commercial launch operations.
